A little time out moment from the daily hustle and bustle of life
To make an effective change in your life, it is important to periodically check in with yourself and reflect on your progress. With this journal, you will be encouraged to have such a check-in meeting with yourself every 10 days. The time out pages inspire you to practise gratitude and to take action to turn your dreams and goals into a reality.
What am I most grateful for in my life right now?
Gratitude is one of humanity's most powerful emotions. Being grateful makes you happier and changes your attitude about life. Think of it as an emotional reset button, scientists say. If you answer this question every 10 days, you keep adding gratitude into the neural connections of the brain. You are developing that gratitude muscle. And things won't only feel or look better because of that - theyactually get better.
What actions can I take in the next ten days to move me closer to accomplishing my goals?
Setting goals and working towards them is a statement that you are taking charge of your own life, rather than reacting to life, and waiting for this to happen. In the intro section of this journal, you'll be inspired to set goals based on your dreams in life, and then write them down.
Then, every 10 days, you are going to ask yourself what actions you can take to move the ball forward. Asking yourself this one simple question, on a consistent basis, can be an excellent boost to your productivity - i.e. making inroads on your goals, despire life's incoming demands, (digital) distractions, and responsibilities. It's time to move your goals out of the "someday" folder into the "today" folder and make things happen.
